1. 01Acceptance of these terms

   By accessing or using ScrumWiz (“the Service”), you agree to these Terms and Conditions. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

2. 02The Service

   ScrumWiz is a free, browser-based story-point estimation tool that lets teams create tables, invite others with a join code, vote on story points and reveal the results together. Features may change, be added or be removed at any time without notice.

3. 03Accounts and guest access

   You can use ScrumWiz with a registered account or as a guest. Guest sessions are tied to a cookie in your browser; clearing it may mean losing access to tables you created as a guest.

   You are responsible for activity under your account or guest session and for keeping your sign-in details secure.

4. 04Acceptable use

   You agree not to:

   • use the Service for anything unlawful, harmful, harassing or abusive;
   • post content you do not have the right to share, or that infringes others’ rights;
   • attempt to gain unauthorised access to tables, accounts or our systems;
   • disrupt, overload or reverse engineer the Service, or scrape it with automated tools.

5. 05Your content

   You keep ownership of anything you enter, such as table names, story titles, descriptions and votes. You give us permission to store and display that content solely to operate the Service for you and the people at your tables. Content you add to a table is visible to everyone who joins it, so avoid entering confidential or sensitive information.

6. 06Privacy and data

   We store the minimum information needed to run the Service: your display name, email address (for registered users) and the tables, stories and votes you create. We rely on trusted third-party providers for authentication, database hosting and realtime messaging. We do not sell your personal information.

7. 07Free usage and limits

   ScrumWiz is free to use. Each user may create a limited number of tables, and we may change those limits at any time. Donations, such as through Buy Me a Coffee, are voluntary and non-refundable, and do not create a paid subscription or service-level agreement.

8. 08Availability and disclaimer

   The Service is provided “as is” and “as available”, without warranties of any kind. We do not guarantee that it will be uninterrupted, error-free or that data will never be lost. Estimates produced with ScrumWiz are a planning aid; decisions you make based on them are your own.

9. 09Limitation of liability

   To the fullest extent permitted by law, ScrumWiz and its creator will not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special or consequential damages, or for any loss of data, profits or business, arising from your use of, or inability to use, the Service.

10. 10Suspension and termination

    We may suspend or remove accounts, guest sessions or tables that break these terms or put the Service at risk. You may stop using the Service at any time.

11. 11Changes to these terms

    We may update these terms from time to time. The date at the top of this page shows when they last changed. Continuing to use the Service after an update means you accept the revised terms.
